Director of Cybersecurity

A company in the retail industry is currently looking for a a Director of Cybersecurity in Phoenix to join their innovative team. In this role, you'll be responsible for shaping and executing a robust cybersecurity strategy in line with our business goals and risk tolerance. You'll provide strategic direction to our cybersecurity team, ensuring their efforts align with our organizational objectives. Collaborating closely with executive leadership, you'll champion cybersecurity initiatives throughout the organization. Your duties will also include identifying and assessing cybersecurity risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and monitoring their effectiveness. You'll establish and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards while staying abreast of regulatory changes. Additionally, you'll oversee incident response plans, lead investigations into security incidents, and manage vendor relationships to bolster our cybersecurity posture. Budget management, including resource allocation for addressing critical risks, and clear communication of cybersecurity concepts to stakeholders will also be key aspects of this role.
Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity or related fields
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• 6+ years of experience in threat detection and response
• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Computer Science, or related field

• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA
