Helpdesk Manager

We are working with a logistics provider for e-commerce brands. Right now, they are looking for a Helpdesk Manager to join their team.

In this role, you will be this office’s main point of contact for all their IT needs. As the Helpdesk manager you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the helpdesk, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues, and improving overall service delivery. You’ll work closely with internal teams and employees, oversee ticket management and any escalations, and provide mentorship and professional development to helpdesk team members.

This is a full-time direct hire opportunity in Pittston, PA. 

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in an IT support role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of helpdesk ticketing systems and remote support tools (ideally Asana)
  • Experience with Windows, Mac OS, and mobile operating systems (iOS, Android).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, Active Directory, VPNs, hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proven experience in team management, including training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • ITIL certification or other relevant IT management certifications.
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions (e.g., Office 365, G-Suite, Azure).
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems, IT asset management, and knowledge management solutions.
  • Strong customer service orientation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures related to IT support.
