Scrum Master - Credit Union (Hybrid 2-3x/month)

This credit union in New Hampshire is looking for a Scrum Master to join their team. They are a not-for-profit financial institution that provides banking solutions such as checking and savings accounts, loans, and mortgages. This is a full-time role that would require traveling to their office in Portsmouth, NH 2-3 times per month.

As a Scrum Master, you will support a cross functional team of developers, engineers, and product owners. You’ll be expected to ensure that the team’s actions are aligned with the product team’s goals and visions. Also, you’ll be a driving force in continuing to foster a comfortable and effective workplace.




Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• Agile Scrum Certification
• Experience using Jira and Confluence
• Experience using Office 365 and White Board products
• Multiple years of experience working in a banking/fintech environment
• Extensive understanding of Agile principles and experience adapting them to evolving environments
• Team leadership experience

Daily Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach team members in a variety of positions across the group on best practices and agile methodologies
• Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to align goals
• Assist in product development and user research
• Continuously monitor and report on the status of projects and initiatives
