Job Description
A leading American telecommunications company is currently undergoing a rapid growth phase and looking for a few Engineering Managers to oversee some new exciting projects. For this role, they are looking for hands on Engineering Managers who have experience with the Microsoft tech stack specifically using C#, .NET Core, React, SQL and Azure. You will spend 40% of your time doing hands on coding and the other 60% doing people management and higher-level strategies. There are a few different projects in the pipeline, however the main one they are focusing on is overseeing a master data management platform. This consists of 2 teams of about 10 people each. There are a few onshore as well as offshore developers, 1-2 QAs and a product owner. You will be focusing mainly on backend/Azure cloud services and the APIs.
They are also looking for strong culture fits. This role requires strong interpersonal skills. They are looking for Managers who can identify their flaws, embrace them and be comfortable embracing failure as you will need to lead from the front. A deep understanding of Agile is also big for this company.
