Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced Infrastructure Administrator to help build, optimize, and secure our hybrid IT environments. This role is crucial to maintaining the integrity and performance of both cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure. You'll be responsible for managing integrations, ensuring security through zero trust principles, and supporting the overall infrastructure strategy. In this position, you will lead critical projects related to disaster recovery, system monitoring, and network security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Optimization: Implement and enhance cloud and on-premises systems using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• System Integrations: Own and manage integrations across multiple platforms and technologies to ensure seamless performance.
• Backup & Recovery: Deploy and maintain disaster recovery plans and backups in line with the company's business continuity strategy.
• Security Implementation: Enforce and manage network security protocols using zero trust principles, including managing Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems.
• Monitoring Systems: Build and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using tools like PRTG and Nagios to ensure early detection and resolution of issues.
• Innovation: Research and develop new solutions to address complex infrastructure challenges.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience working with cloud infrastructure platforms, including Azure, AWS, and VMware Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI).
• Strong expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Proven experience with monitoring and alerting systems like PRTG, Nagios, or similar tools.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement backup and disaster recovery systems within Azure, AWS, or VMware environments.
• Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions like CyberArk or Thycotic as part of a zero-trust architecture.
• Proven track record of managing integrations across various platforms.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) compliance standards.
• Deep understanding of network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and zero-trust implementations.
• Experience working in a fast-paced or startup environment, especially within aerospace or defense sectors.
• Familiarity with working under stringent regulatory and compliance frameworks.
