Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Producer

Our client seeking a dedicated Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Email Producer to join our digital communications team. This is a long-term, ongoing remote contract opportunity supporting high-volume, dynamic digital campaigns.

This is not a hybrid marketing role — we are looking for someone whose primary and proven expertise is in email production using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with specific knowledge of Email Studio, AMPscript, and industry-standard best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• You will focus exclusively on the execution and deployment of email and SMS campaigns, ensuring they are accurate, personalized, compliant, and on-brand.
• Own end-to-end email and SMS production: coding, QA, testing, deployment
• Hand-code HTML emails and ensure responsive design across devices
• Implement personalization and dynamic content using AMPscript
• Upload and manage contact lists securely
• Maintain consistent brand and legal compliance (CAN-SPAM, privacy laws)
• Work cross-functionally with design, content, data, and marketing teams
• Support QA processes, A/B testing, and optimization efforts
• Document and adhere to internal email processes and best practices

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years in an email production role (not hybrid with broader marketing duties)
• Proven hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, especially Email Studio
• Strong proficiency with AMPscript
• In-depth understanding of email marketing best practices, responsive design, and commercial spam laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM)
• Experience managing lists, segmentation, and deploying campaigns
• Attention to detail with strong time and project management skills
• Comfortable working in high-volume, deadline-driven environments
• Hands-on experience with SFMC features such as data extensions, journeys, automations, triggers
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification
• Experience with SQL, CloudPages, or JavaScript
