QA Engineer

A security company based in Reston, VA is looking to hire a full-time QA Engineer. This is a fully onsite position. The organization develops advanced software and biometric systems used in global efforts to combat terrorism and secure international borders. Their solutions include real-time identity screening, flight pattern analysis, and physical hardware such as fingerprint and iris scanners.

This role involves hands-on testing of complex software systems that support mission-critical operations. You will work throughout the entire QA lifecycle, including manual and automated testing, test planning, and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5-8 years of experience
• Experience testing web, desktop, and API based applications
• Experience with Quality Assurance
• Strong knowledge of QA tools, methods, and processes

Desired Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Experience with Java or C#
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
