This is a hybrid Senior .NET Engineering opportunity located in Richmond, VA with one of the world’s largest cloud and software consulting firms. This is a long-term contract-to-hire role focused on supporting and modernizing public-facing infrastructure using C#, Angular, Azure Functions, and microservices. You’ll be part of a digital transformation for Virginia’s DMV and Transportation Services, following a successful statewide implementation in Arizona.
You’ll join a high-impact team behind the "Max Operations" platform—recognized nationally for its innovation in public-sector software. After success in Arizona, this 10-year initiative is now being implemented across Virginia. You’ll build, modernize, and support tools that power transportation services used by millions of residents. Ideal for senior engineers who want long-term stability, real-world impact, and experience modernizing legacy systems into scalable, cloud-based solutions.
Contract Duration: 24 – 48 Months+
Required Skills & Experience
· C# / .NET
· Angular or other modern JavaScript frameworks
· Azure Functions and microservices architecture
· SQL Server
· Public-facing application support
Desired Skills & Experience
· Experience with DMV, AAMVA, or NMVTIS systems
· Familiarity with legacy-to-modern migrations
· Experience with ADOT or other transportation infrastructure projects
