Senior Azure Cloud Engineer

We are currently helping an insurance company hire full time Azure Cloud Engineers for their Rosemont office. This will be a hybrid role requiring two days a week on site. This company acts as a holding company for multiple financial and insurance service subsidiaries.

In this role you will be spearheading Azure components, environments, and architecture. You will have to utilize coding and scripting as well as incorporating best practices. You need to be a strong communicator, enjoy troubleshooting, and be comfortable making recommendations to the team. Someone with Azure DevOps, Bicep, ARM, YAML, and Terraform templates would be very successful here.


Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with Azure Cloud
• Familiarity with Terraform and Bicep
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps
• ARM Templates
• Gitflow
• Strong communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• 5+ years as Cloud Engineer
• An associates or bachelor’s is a plus
• Leadership skills is a plus
• Must live in Chicago area and be able to go onsite two days a week
