Required Skills & Experience
  • 3-5+ years experience in the critical power industry
  • Ability to troubleshoot down to component level on UPS, batteries, PDUs, STS, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High-level customer service skills
  • Proficiency in completing Field Service Reports
  • Knowledge of equipment manufacturers specifications
  • Ability to work independently and resourcefully
  • Physical capability to perform repeated bending and lifting up to 100lbs
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends when necessary
  • UPS OEM factory training or experience in Lieber/ Emerson/Vertiv, APC/ MGE/ Schneider, or Eaton/Powerware

  • Technical degree
  • Previous 3rd Party UPS experience
  • Previous military experience and training
  • Knowledge of general computer hardware and software applications
