Lead Data Engineer

We are currently looking to bring on a Lead Data Engineer who can lead and provide ongoing mentorship and support to our data platform team, in which you will administer and manage Snowflake and other data infrastructure. You will take point in making key decisions on issues of data security, governance, and performance. Additionally, you will be using Python, SQL, DBT and other tools to handle ETL, data warehousing, and data governance processes. Headquartered in Los Angeles, this position is set up to accommodate remote reporting with an expectation to say hello in office a couple days a month. Required Skills & Experience

• Proven technical leadership or management experience in areas of data engineering, analytics engineering, or data infrastructure
• Highly experienced in Python for ETL development
• Highly familiar with ETL architecture and infrastructure tool Terraform
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and data modeling tools
• Exp. developing automated data pipelines and data stores in Snowflake
• Exp. working with DBT, and AWS OR GCP cloud infrastructure in current role
