Part-Time Support Hardware Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Support Hardware Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis in San Francisco. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential technical support and troubleshooting for hardware equipment used across various departments. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for hardware-related issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.

• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on hardware systems.

• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure hardware is functioning optimally and meets operational needs.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware malfunctions or performance issues in a timely manner.

• Assist with hardware installations, configurations, and setup for new employees or departments.

• Maintain hardware inventory and ensure that equipment is properly stored and documented.

• Assist in creating and updating hardware-related documentation for internal use.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in IT support, hardware troubleshooting, or a related field preferred.

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals.

• Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and common hardware diagnostic tools.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Schedule:

• Part-time (15-20 hours per week)

• Flexible working hours with the ability to work on-site in San Francisco.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly rate, based on experience.
