Grow your career with an innovative global bank in Tampa, FL as an ETL/Ab Initio Application Support Analyst. Contract role with strong possibility of extension or conversion to full-time employment. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.
  • 5 + years of hands-on Application Support working with ETL tools, preferably Ab Initio (but will consider others).
  • 4+ years of experience in Application Development and/or Application Support.
  • 3+ years working with Ab Initio and Database related projects.
  • 3+ years working with Unix commands, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, ETL, WebSphere, job scheduling tools, system monitoring tools like App Dynamic.
  • Good skills writing Unix (Shell) scripts and Oracle SQL scripts.
  • Understanding of IT service process ITIL and mindset of DevOps.
  • Finance Accounting domain knowledge.
  • Attention to detail while troubleshooting Log analysis skills throughout application components.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Hands-on experience using Ab Initio, Hadoop and shell scripting.
  • Experience in Big Data Hadoop/Hive.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Perform hands-on technical support using ETL (preferably Ab Initio) on a routine basis within Operational Level Agreement (OLA).
  • Troubleshoot technical issues reported by users and issues self-detected within Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Independently resolve all known issues and 80% of newly occurred issues, including data investigations.
  • Monitor and recover all application and database processes.
  • Maintain environment stabilities.
  • Coordinate with Level 3 and Development team to resolve issues in production environment and provide feedback.
  • Collect environment improvement points and provide a plan to Development team and application owners.
  • Plan and coordinate application Release knowledge sharing, migrations, disaster recovery documentation.
  • Provide knowledge and support training for new team members.
  • Develop support-script and simplify-issue-investigation scripts.
  • Take technical lead on new implementations and rollouts.
