Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree
  • 10-15 years of work experience in software development.
  • Extensive experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
  • 7+ years’ experience in full stack software development.
  • 5+ years of experience data integration
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java with strong SQL background.
  • 5+ years hands-on experience in Angular
  • Experience developing high performance server side components
  • 3+ years of hands-on Kafka/Confluent/Data Streaming development/operational platform experience
  • Experience in working in with Kafka connectors, Producer and consumer APIs
  • Strong hands-on expertise in debugging and fixing streaming jobs by looking debug logs and configuration tuning.
  • Strong SQL skills and ability to troubleshoot business problems by providing data solutions and/or recommending better solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Kafka architecture including offset management, partition strategy and DR requirements
  • Good understanding of Kafka Security with Kerberos.
  • Good understanding of Streaming message delivery semantics.
  • Experience in developing micro services using spring boot

  • Prior financial services or banking experience.
  • Previous experience with Confluent Kafka
  • Monitoring Kafka with external tools and APIs

What You Will Be Doing
  • Use hands-on full-stack software development skills, particularly with Java, Angular, Spring Boot and SQL programming to ensure the appropriate integration of functions meet goals
  • Use hands-on skills in Kafka/Confluent/Data Streaming development/operational platform to resolve a variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
  • Will partner with multiple management teams to identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements using knowledge of systems analysis, data integration, and programming of software applications
  • Provide technical expertise and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
  • Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
  • Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
  • Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
