Contract Duration: 12+ Months
- 10+ years in financial services experience.
- 3 to 4+ years of recent experience working with SWAPS reporting.
- Expertise with the reporting regulations: Part 43, Part 45, SEC, SBSD, FCA, EMIR Reporting, SMA EMIR Reporting, SWAP reporting.
- Business analysis and project management skills associated with the implementation of these regulations.
- Able to understand what the reporting requirement is.
- Strong understanding of OTC derivative trade lifecycles and associated market practices.
- Must understand the reporting flow.
- Must know the terminologies such as: compound trades, component trades, and baskets.
- Knowledge of transaction statuses like cancellation and termination.
- Experience in leading initiatives in Middle Office, Operations or Operations Control at a broker/dealer.
- Demonstrated experience in the successful implementation of projects, operational process change and improvement, preferably within capital markets operations.
- Experience in collecting, defining and documenting business and technology requirements, test plans and other project management artifacts.
- Experienced in consulting with project stakeholders, including the skills to facilitate compromises and resolve conflicting requirements.
- Knowledge and a technical understanding of OTC derivatives processing including product, process and system knowledge.
- Experience should ideally involve large scale implementations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions.
- Ability to facilitate project planning sessions with varied stakeholders, sometimes having competing interests.
- A good knowledge of the techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling project and resources
- Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledge.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations to senior levels of management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Previous work experience with the client.
- Consulting experience with a major consulting firm.
- Knowledge of recent regulations e.g. Dodd Frank, Basel.
- Facilitate the management and governance of projects meetings and working groups.
- Create and manage the development of individual project artifacts including scoping documents, project plans, score cards, risk & issue trackers, business requirements documentation, functional requirements documentation, traceability matrices, and test plans /scripts.
- Work with business, operations, technology and compliance functions in assessment of regulator’s requirements to ensure they are reflected in business requirements and user acceptance test cases.
- Identify key project risks, whether stated or not, and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly.
- Update section of the BRD.
- Working with different teams to develop test cases.
- Complete testing framework and BRD.
- Work with the asset classes, put in place the testing and run the test.
