Security Engineer/ Compliance

This opportunity beckons a Security Engineer with a passion for protecting data, meeting compliance goals, and building trust across a rapidly evolving platform serving learners from enrollment to career.

In this role, you'll lead efforts to uphold our organization's security certifications—SOC 2, PCI DSS, TX-RAMP—while ensuring we remain in alignment with global data privacy standards like GDPR, FERPA, CCPA, and PIPEDA. You'll act as a key bridge between auditors, security teams, and product stakeholders, driving continuous compliance and guiding risk management across cloud-based infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience developing and maintain security policies and control libraries aligned with NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001

• Proven projects collaborating with DevOps and IT teams to monitor and enforce cloud security controls (AWS)

• Hands-on experience with PCI DSS, SOC 2, or TX-RAMP frameworks

• Familiarity with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, and GRC platform

Required Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, CIS Benchmarks, and modern identity frameworks (Okta, Entra ID)

• Experience implementing SIEM solutions and log correlation strategies

• Strong documentation, analytical, and collaboration skills
