Senior Data Center Engineer

An airline client located in Vandalia, OH is looking for a Senior Data Center Engineer to add to their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, prepping, installing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, decommissioning, or replacing technical equipment including servers, cables, etc. You will also be responsible for working within SLA’s to resolve any known issues. The role will require someone onsite 5 days a week.

Contract Duration: 6 – 12 Months
Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience working in data centers
• Must be willing to travel and work various shifts
• Familiarity ITSM tools
• Experience managing physical data center access
• Ability to inspect equipment, report issues, and minimize downtime
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and failures involving hardware, software and network devices
• Experience maintaining documentation
• Experience installing and decommissioning hardware
• Familiarity with network equipment like routers, switches and firewalls
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to lift 35lbs.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience supporting IT equipment
