Job Title: Senior QlikSense Business Intelligence Developer
Location: Fully Remote (US Eastern or Central Time Zone preferred)

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior QlikSense Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced QlikSense dashboards and applications, including complex mash-ups that integrate multiple data sources. This role demands deep technical expertise in QlikSense, along with a strong understanding of business intelligence best practices, particularly within the life sciences industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually compelling QlikSense dashboards that provide actionable insights to our clients. Ensure the dashboards are user-friendly and aligned with business requirements.

Mash-Up Development: Create advanced QlikSense mash-ups by integrating multiple data sources and APIs, delivering a seamless and comprehensive view of business data. Ensure high performance and scalability of mash-up applications.

Data Modeling: Develop robust data models that optimize performance and support the creation of complex analytics solutions. Implement best practices in data modeling, data loading, and data transformation.

Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Provide expert advice on leveraging QlikSense to achieve business objectives.

Technical Leadership: Serve as the subject matter expert on QlikSense within the organization. Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices in QlikSense development and data visualization.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, data engineers, and business analysts, to ensure the successful delivery of business intelligence solutions.

Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in QlikSense and business intelligence technologies. Continuously seek ways to improve the performance and functionality of QlikSense applications.
Qualifications:

Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience with QlikSense development, including dashboard creation, data modeling, and mash-up development. Experience in the life sciences industry is a strong plus.

Technical Skills: Expertise in QlikSense scripting, data integration, and visualization techniques. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs for developing mash-ups.

Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business intelligence principles and practices, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions. Knowledge of life sciences industry dynamics and regulatory requirements is preferred.

Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges and optimize the performance of QlikSense applications.

Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications in QlikSense or BI tools are a plus.
