A company at the intersection of EdTech and HealthTech, based in DC is searching for a Lead Software Engineer to join their fast growing organization. This position will be leading a brand new team working on a greenfield project.
They are mission driven, and their software is currently active in 700+ medical colleges, hospitals and nursing programs in over 60 countries. They aim to deliver cutting edge video education software to create an overall improvement in the delivery of healthcare and their product has been used in millions of simulations. The ideal candidate will have strong Typescript/Node.js experience and IoT experience/hardware integration experience.
Required Skills- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience working across the stack on complex apps
- JavaScript/ES6 experience (Typescript a plus)
- Experience working with Node.js
- Cloud architecture experience preferably with AWS
- IoT experience and/or hardware integration experience
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
