Rust Engineer (100% REMOTE)

Job Description: 

This Rust Engineer role is an exciting opportunity that will be focusing on building out an enterprise software security platform. Their team values kindness, problem-solving, and collaboration in their engineers. The position is local to the area, preferring candidates who are open to two days onsite per week in Washington, DC (100% remote is also OK for people outside DMV). This Rust engineer will focus on extensive work with our client’s security applications, building API’s, microservices, and integrations with 3rd party software.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of Go/C++ (but willing to learn Rust)

• Supportive, team-oriented, and kind personality

• Experience building Microservices and APIs

• DevOps tools like kubernetes, terraform, docker or other 3rd party CI/CD tools

• Experience working in AWS environment

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of Rust Development / Engineering highly preferred

• Experience working with application security 

• Hybrid in Washington, DC (Not required for out-of-area)
