Senior Rust Engineer

A startup in DC that is building a SaaS platform used by small and mid-sized reached $1M in ARR in their first year operation. They are projecting a lot of growth this year and hiring 2 engineers prior to their next funding round to help build new features and build enterprise integrations to their platform.

They are looking for a Senior Rust Engineer with at least 1 year of Rust experience in a production setting. Experience with DevOps infrastructure is a nice to have, but not required (Vault, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes). They are hiring for someone local to the DC area since their team is primarily located here, however, they are very remotely friendly and have the occasional onsite meetup for team building and whiteboarding/collaboration.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development
• 1+ year of Rust experience
• 5+ years of cloud experience (AWS)

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with enterprise integrations (Microsoft, Google, IAM software, etc.)
• Experience with Vault, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes
