Analyst Commodity II (EI2)

Our client, a Biopharmaceutical company, has a great opportunity for an IT Analyst experience working in a GxP environment (preferably). This role blends IT Desktop Support with QC in lab systems. This position is slated to be a long-term contract (2 years) and you will have the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule (at least 3 days onsite).

Contract Duration: May 2025 - May 2027
Location: North Chicago, IL 60064

This role supports their Enterprise IT systems specifically used in their operations laboratory. The ideal candidates will have experience with Lab systems or software from a validation and/or qualification standpoint.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong Desktop support skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload to priorities
• Working in a GxP environment is a plus
• Knowledge of instrument/software qualification process
• Bachelor's degree in a related area and 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

What You Will Be Doing

• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs.
• Assist With business case and elicit, analyze, arrange, translate, simplify business requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Good understanding of systems and engineering concepts, strong verbal communication and technical writing skills.
• Performs routine troubleshooting for instrument connected PC’s, maintains user account security, assists with instrument qualification activities, performs audit trail reviews and data integrity risk assessments.
• Responsible for annual account recertification activities and coordinating audit responses. Responsible for the entire lifecycle of instrument PC maintenance activities.
