Job Description Our client, a major bank, is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to do high level configurations and design in one of their new data centers. They need someone who has spent a lot of time in a data center environment who can work with a large variety of technical tools and implement a lot of different routing protocols and design LAN/WAN solutions.

Business to business extranet connectivity is a large aspect of this role so they need someone who can do transport, resiliency, natting, and VPN work. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data center network engineering with a large amount of network design experience. Tech wise, they need someone skilled with Cisco and Arista gears, LAN/WAN design, IP protocols, QoS configurations, and extranet.

This is a full-time, hybrid (3 days onsite a week) position located in Westlake, Texas. Compensation is a $100-120k salary. Required Skills & Experience
  • Hands on experience working in a data center environment using Cisco and Arista gears.
  • Experience doing business to business extranet connectivity.
  • LAN/WAN design experience.
  • Ability to implement IP protocols and QoS configurations.
  • Ability to create and update technical design documentation.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • 6-8 years of experience working with network infrastructures, 4-5 years in a data center.
  • CCNA, CCNP/DP, or CCIE Certifications (data center specific) a huge plus.
