A recycling company in the Irving, TX area is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their team.

They are ideally seeking a candidate with extensive networking experience. This role is for someone who enjoys network design, architecture, planning, embraces new technology, and feels strongly not only about building large networks but also complex migrations and scaling network infrastructure to next level. The candidate must enjoy a close-knit team environment of shared responsibility. Ideally they would like for this engineer to have experience with Cisco products – Meraki, Nexus, Catalyst, Palo Alto firewalls, routing protocols, load balancing, and Cisco CCNP or related industry certification is required.

This will be a hybrid position out of their Irving, TX office. 2 days onsite, 3 days remote or vice versa if you would like to be in the office once more per week. Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in a Network Engineering role in enterprise environment with geographically dispersed locations.
  • 5+ hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki switch/WIFI, Palo Alto NGFW, Infoblox DDI, Cisco ASA, ISR, ASR, Catalyst/Nexus switches
  • Expert level understanding of EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, Ethernet, DSL, DMVPN, QoS, COS, SNMP, VoIP, VLANS, Subnetting, Supernetting, Trunking, Virtual Networking, SASE (SDWAN and all other components), WLAN, NetFlow, network monitoring systems, cloud service providers such as MS Azure and OCI.
  • Experience with designing and implementing global networks which includes multi-site, high-availability, load-balanced infrastructure.
  • Cisco CCNP or related industry certification required.
