.NET Developer / On-Site / Wheaton, IL

They are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining their financial services applications that support their investment product offerings.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using VB.NET, .NET Core, and C#.
• Design and implement scalable solutions using SQL Server for data storage and management.
• Build dynamic and responsive web interfaces using Razor and React.
• Develop and maintain RESTful Web APIs to support integration with various systems and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and designers, to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Optimize application performance, ensure security, and follow best development practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to process improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the financial technology sector.

Required Skills and Experience 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3+ years of experience in .NET development using VB.NET, C#, and .NET Core.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including database design, queries, and performance tuning.
• Experience with front-end development using Razor and React.
• Hands-on experience building and consuming Web APIs for seamless integration.
• Familiarity with financial services or investment products is a plus but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
