Contract Duration: 24 Months

Required Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Basic understanding of data encryption concepts, security protocols, or related technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn and develop technical expertise.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory environments, particularly in financial services, is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Exposure to encryption tools such as Vormetric, CipherTrust Manager, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working with structured data environments and understanding of data lifecycle management.
  • Basic scripting or programming knowledge for development or automation purposes.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunity for process improvements within Information Security Engineering.
  • Review and analyze basic or tactical Information Security Engineering assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, related to low-to-medium risk deliverables.
  • Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide information to client personnel in Information Security Engineering.
  • Data Encryption Management: Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and support of encryption technologies to secure structured data at rest.
  • Monitor encryption systems and processes to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Work with a variety of vendors to implement and manage encryption solutions.
  • Support vendor assessments and ensure adherence to compliance and security requirements.
  • Development and Support: Contribute to the development and integration of encryption tools and processes.
  • Provide hands-on support for technical issues and enhancements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Assist with compliance-related activities, including audits, regulatory reporting, and maintaining documentation.
  • Ensure all encryption practices align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers and leadership to support the team’s goals and objectives.
  • Participate in training opportunities to develop expertise in data encryption technologies and compliance practices.
