Contract Duration: 6 Months +
Required Skills & Experience
• 15+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years of Selenium Development Experience
• 5+ years of Cucumber Development Experience
• 5+ years of Gherkin Development Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• 10+ years of Selenium development experience
• 5+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata
• 5+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
• 2+ years of risk and regulatory compliance experience
What You Will Be Doing
• Own and Lead test automation for multiple complex distributed applications.
• Lead a team of Selenium developers that support other teams.
• Help improve overall test automation practices and cross-train Agile team members.
• Participates in standard Agile ceremonies to discuss design, development, and implementation of large and complex application.
• Perform standard developer activities of code, write unit test, manually unit test, build and release code, run code scans etc. as part of the standard SDLC cycle for the team in an Agile manner.
• Build Behavior Driven Development based test suite via Gherkin, Cucumber and Selenium.
• Have good understanding about how to build functional and non-functional automated testing for RESTful API, Batches and Angular UI via standard toolsets like BlazeMeter, Cucumber, Karate etc.
• Has good understanding of version control (GitHub), integrated development environment (IntelliJ), CICD (uDeploy, Jenkins etc.) and able to generate documentation as required.
• Meet all non-functional requirements for Selenium development as well as meet enterprise guidelines and standards of best practices, accessibility, security, performance, resilience, high availability, code re-usability etc.
