  • Typically has 5+ years of experience in software development, production support, or operational support.
  • Proficient in at least one .NET language, such as C# or Visual Basic .NET.
  • Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Skilled in interacting with RESTful APIs and handling formats like JSON and XML.
  • Proficient in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AngularJS.
  • Experienced in utilizing Agile methodologies.
  • Familiar with large-scale, multi-site IS operations.
  • Knowledgeable in PC hardware and peripherals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft or Java productivity applications.
  • Experienced with browser-based technologies.
  • Proficient in operating systems such as Windows and macOS.
  • Working knowledge of Azure Functions and Azure web applications is preferred.
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field
What You Will Be Doing 
  • Collaborate with end users and Information Services teams to define criteria for project phases and ensure thorough testing of developed solutions.
  • Assist in designing and developing database schemas.
  • Lead the development of small applications with minimal supervision, adhering to Information System standards and methodologies.
  • Provide technical mentoring to junior developers and address help desk tickets related to development issues.
  • Develop reports as requested, using various report-writing tools across applications, and ensure that management is informed of critical issues or those exceeding documented targets.
  • Regularly review outstanding issues to ensure current troubleshooting and resolutions.
  • Identify areas where policies and procedures may need updates or new ones are necessary, particularly concerning future business expansion, and submit recommendations.
  • Participate in relevant information-sharing activities, monitor, and report on security violations related to unauthorized access to corporate data.
  • Ensure timely and efficient resolution of problems, maintain awareness of the evolving technological environment, and recommend cost-efficient techniques.
  • Create, maintain, and update disaster recovery procedures in response to changes in hardware or applications, and ensure compliance with change management policies and procedures.
  • Continuously learn new software development technologies and environments.
