About the Opportunity 

An organizational psychology non-for-profit based in Alexandria, VA is looking for a Data Engineer. Essentially their work focuses on the business and consulting side of psychology and how organizations are run and how their people are managed. They work on a hybrid schedule and will partner with any type of business (in DC, they do a lot of work within different federal agencies, but that is probably a third of their total business) and study how their managers evaluate performances and how this impacts overall culture and performance.

 

Job Details 

As a Data Engineer, you're going to be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure and API solutions within an AWS ecosystem, and work with one of their clients on building an enterprise data warehouse and data exchange platform to handle internal and external data.

This role requires US citizenship

Responsibilities 

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure and API solutions within an AWS ecosystem 

• Work with one of their clients on building an enterprise data warehouse and data exchange platform 

• Work cross-functionally with other teams 

Qualifications 

• US Citizenship 

• 4+ years of data engineering experience 

• Extensive experience working within an AWS environment 

• Experience working with Python to build ETL/ELT pipeline 

• SQL experience 

• DevOps experience is a plus
