Senior Data Engineer with TS/SCI Full Scope Poly - NOVA

A Dulles area based company is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team, working on cutting-edge blockchain security solutions that help prevent fraudulent financial activities. Their proprietary tool analyzes data from 30+ blockchains, identifying and flagging suspicious transactions both proactively and post-incident. In this role, you will design and develop scalable data pipelines, optimize real-time analytics, and support fraud detection efforts in a highly secure environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and platform engineering, with expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). An active Full-Scope Poly (FSP) clearance is required.

As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in integrating their analytics solutions into secure federal environments. You will work closely with engineers and analysts to enhance data infrastructure, optimize fraud detection algorithms, and improve blockchain transaction monitoring. Required Skills and Experience:

• Extensive experience in data engineering and platform engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong background in ETL pipeline development, big data processing, and real-time analytics.
• Experience working with blockchain data, fraud detection, or financial security tools is a plus.
• Active Full-Scope Poly (FSP) clearance required.
