Senior Linux Engineer / VSphere to Openshift Migration / Remote

A technical consulting client of ours is hiring for a Senior Linux Engineer who can assist with a short-term contract position. This position is perfect for engineers who specialize in OpenShift and can help with a vSphere to OpenShift migration for a client of theirs. This would be a 1-month contract and fully remote, with occasional travel to Florida, Austin, and Georgia.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of RedHat Linux System Engineering experience
• Strong background with VMware to OpenShift migrations
• Prior experience working with VMs and physical on-prem servers
• Knowledge of Veeam backup software integration
• Integration work with Active Directory
• Backup and recovery skillset

Desired Skills & Experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong experience with enterprise projects
• Ability to travel across Southeast for migration work
• Multi-site setup with physical coverage background
• BS in CS or equivalent degree
