Business Analyst

The company is located in Reston, VA and will remain 100% remote.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources such as ServiceNow, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and other business databases. Ensure data completeness and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate within a team, gather feedback on data results from technical members, and offer constructive challenges.
  • Generate accurate, properly formatted monthly Service Level Availability reports for customers.
  • Provide timely communication on report statuses, issues, and risks to stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and managers.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer go-live events, data, and report results.
  • Assist the Business Support Management team as needed, including:
  • Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles.
  • Conducting business process training.
  • Contributing to the maintenance of project management standards, process improvements, and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience, or Master’s degree.
  • At least 3 years of analytical experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; VBA scripting experience is a plus.
  • 2 years of experience in Cloud/IT operations, software engineering, systems engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience collaborating with technical teams.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Preferred experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools, including developing and maintaining data models, reporting, and visualizations.
  • Preferred experience with ServiceNow.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
  • In-depth understanding of business process and cloud technology requirements, especially SaaS.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to adapt and shift priorities efficiently when needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and resolve complex issues.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality results.
  • Builds strong partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Actively contributes to fostering collaboration.
  • Communicates key information in a timely manner, offering constructive feedback to cross-functional teams and managers.
  • Ability to quickly learn new functional and technical concepts.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
