IT Vulnerability Technician
The IT Vulnerability Technician is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and mitigating security vulnerabilities within the organization's IT endpoint infrastructure. This role involves performing regular vulnerability assessments, collaborating with both on-site and remote users to resolve identified issues, and implementing security measures to enhance system protection.
The company is located in Reston, VA and will be a hybrid model of 3-4 days onsite a week.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Monitor and analyze vulnerability scans on systems and applications.
- Address identified vulnerabilities by contacting users and remotely accessing laptops to apply patches.
- Document security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate remediation strategies.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure timely resolution and mitigation of vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain documentation for vulnerability management procedures.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Stay updated on emerging security threats, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Assist with security audits and assessments conducted by third-party entities.
- Provide technical support to users as needed.
- 4+ years of experience in Windows IT Services, End-User Support, or as an Endpoint Administrator.
- Experience in vulnerability assessment and management.
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as Nessus, MECM, and Intune.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
