Forward Deployed Analyst

An Arlington, VA based startup is searching for a Forward Deployed Analyst to join our mission-driven team, working directly with users on the ground at Fort Meade.

In this role, you'll serve as the critical link between operators and technology—deploying cutting-edge solutions, integrating complex datasets, and turning real-time challenges into actionable insights. This position is an ideal fit for someone with a DNI or DNNA background who can bring a strong mix of mission awareness, technical skills, and real-world analytical experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Embed with operational teams to understand real-world problems and deliver technical solutions at mission speed
• Integrate and operationalize advanced analytics and data platforms in secure environments
• Perform hands-on data analysis, surface insights, and support targeting or cyber operations
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to shape the tools based on field experience
• Train mission users on how to best use the platform to accelerate workflows and increase effectiveness

Who You Are:

• Experience as a DNI, DNNA, or related role in digital network analysis, cyber operations, or SIGINT support
• Deep understanding of how to interpret network-based data, metadata, and communications
• Technically fluent—comfortable with tools like Wireshark, Python, or SQL and able to navigate complex systems
• Clear communicator who can translate between operational goals and technical implementation
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Willing to work full-time, on-site at Fort Meade

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with data visualization tools or scripting for automation
• Prior experience working with mission-focused platforms in classified or tactical environments
• Understanding of IC tools, workflows, and secure system deployment
