Lead .NET Developer

A mission-driven organization in Reston VA, known for its work in the education sector, is looking for a hands-on Engineering Lead to support its expanding technology team. The role follows a hybrid schedule, with onsite presence required twice a week.

This is a full-time position where you'll play a key role in rebuilding internal applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and Angular 10+ in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. You’ll also be working heavily with SQL.

This is a rare chance to code with purpose. Their mission is global, but their engineering team is tight knit and deeply invested in building clean, modern software that truly makes a difference. While this is a Team Lead position, you will also be hands-on with coding about 50% of the time. The other half will focus on leading the team: shaping roadmaps, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and helping to nurture a positive, inclusive team culture where people can do their best work.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
• C#
• SQL
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• Angular 10+
• ASP.NET MVC

Desired Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Experience with .NET Core
• Strong communication skills
• Experience mentoring junior developers
