Senior Software Engineer / Rust / Hybrid DC

A cybersecurity company based in Washington, DC is looking to hire a Senior Rust Engineer to join their engineering team. This is a hybrid opportunity in which you will be expected to come onsite in DC several days a week.

This company operates on the mission of make strong cybersecurity easy, affordable, and accessible for all businesses. Their platform automates modern security and compliance so companies can protect themselves without expensive consultants or complex tool stacks. You will be helping to build this product from the ground up. This is a backend-leaning Rust-heavy role. 

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2-3 years hands-on experience with Rust. 
• Experience building APIs, microservices, and integrations with 3rd party security software.
• Ability to act as a supportive and collaborative team member.

It is preferred (but not required) that you have experience with:

• AWS services.
• Running Docker containers.
• Common enterprise security tooling (e.g., Jamf, Okta, GSuite, etc.)
