Network Infrastructure Engineer

A fast-growing startup at the intersection of AI and decentralization is seeking a sharp Network Infrastructure Engineer to help scale mission-critical infrastructure. This role is a unique blend of DevOps, physical infrastructure, and network architecture. Perfect for someone who enjoys tackling complex infrastructure challenges at scale.

They recently stood up a data center in Ashburn, VA, so while the position is mostly remote, we're looking for someone local who can be on-site when needed to ensure uptime and resolve hardware, networking, and server issues swiftly.
Requirements:

• Proven experience designing networks and maintaining physical infrastructure.
• Possesses a deep understanding of routers/switches and establishing connectivity between servers.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, including networking, security, and automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in performance tuning and infrastructure automation.
• Must be based near Ashburn, VA for occasional on-site support.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Experience with object storage platforms such as MinIO, particularly in cloud native or Kubernetes environments.
