GRC Engineer / Fully Remote

We are partnered with a large social media platform that creates a visual and collaborative platform for consumers to share ideas with each other. They currently are growing out their security team and are seeking a GRC Engineer to maintain the security and compliance posture of their infrastructure and applications.

In this role, you will collaborate with teams cross-functionally to implement and maintain GRC frameworks and conduct risk and vulnerability assessments to identify gaps. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of risk and InfoSec principles and familiarty with ISO, NIST, and GDPR frameworks. This is a fully remote role that can be done virtually anywhere in the United States.

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience as a GRC Engineer
  • Strong experience with ISO 2700, NIST, and/or GDPR frameworks
  • Strong understanding of risk and infosec security principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA) is a plus
