Senior Threat Hunter / Remote

We are partnered with a leading healthcare organization dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable healthcare services and improving the overall well-being of families and individuals. They are seeking a skilled and motivated Threat Hunter to join their dynamic cybersecurity team. As a Threat Hunter, you will be responsible for proactively detecting, investigating, and mitigating advanced cyber threats and attacks targeting their sensitive data and infrastructure. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the security posture of one of the largest healthcare organizations in the United States. In this role you will conduct proactive threat hunting activities to identify, analyze, and respond to advanced threats and attacks and utilize various security tools, technologies, and methodologies to detect, investigate, and mitigate security incidents. This is a fully remote role that could be done virtually anywhere in the US. Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Threat Hunter, Security Analyst, or a similar role, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security technologies, and threat intelligence frameworks.
• Proficient in using security tools such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection/Prevention System), EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), and vulnerability assessment tools.
• Familiarity with log analysis, data correlation, and security event triage.
• Solid knowledge of common cyber threats, attack vectors, and mitigation techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Security or a related field
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., GIAC Certified Incident Handler, EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker) are a plus.
