Project Manager

Overall Responsibilities

* Provide Project Management to facilitate assessment of difference application integration options including assessing functional and non-functional requirements, possibly conducting an RFP, negotiating and signing a contract with application supplier, and creating a business case.

* Provide Project Management for an Application Migration / Integration Project for full project lifecycle coordinating with and manging resources including external supplier / application vendor, internal IT application owners business analysts, business function managers and analysts, IT and Business executive stakeholders.

* May be asked to manage multiple projects at once depending on size and complexity

Project Management Skills

* Business Case / Financial Accumen

* Stakeholder Mgmt / Communication / Persuasive / Executive Presence

* Organizational Change Management Aware: Owns the outcome. Others will create comms, training, and provide OCM plan guidance.

* Project Management Fundamentals (risk, WBS, scheduling, work management, etc.)

* Full Project Management / SDLC Lifecycle Experience

Initiate / Define

Plan / Design

Execute / Build / Test / Deploy

Close / Transition to Operations

Monitor & Control"

* Agile Mindset (not necessarily software development methodologies but facilitate iterative planning and delivery)

 

Specific Project experience / expertise

Experience with functional application integration / migration projects throughout the full project lifecycle

Experience with relevant Business Functions / Processes not required but a plus: Health & Safety, possibly Sustainability, Corporate Communications, or other business functions

Experience conducting RFP / negotiate & sign contracts with application suppliers

Experience collaborating with Business Function leaders / analysts and IT leaders / analysts assessing options and developing a business case aligned to business strategy
