Senior Manual QA - Atlanta, GA
Giant healthcare organization seeking a Senior QA Analyst with extensive Oracle knowledge to work as part of an Agile team working on a suite of healthcare related applications.
The senior quality Analyst tests web applications and software to ensure standards are met by reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documentation, identifying risks to system functionality, creating test plans, and executing test cases. This role requires someone who can take the lead in ensuring the quality and reliability of products and continuously seek ways to improve processes.
MUST HAVE - strong Oracle backend testing skills and UNIX (Linux) skills
Responsibilities:
Writes and maintains test scripts using Jira (X-Ray).
Develops, publishes, and implements test plans.
Develop quality assurance standards.
Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
Provides post-release support related to defect analysis, scalability, and workflow.
Performs End-to-End feature/story validations.
Communicate with management and the development team regarding test objectives, requirements, and results.
Complete all responsibilities outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of manual Quality Assurance background, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
- 4+ years of experience with Oracle Databases and API validations.
- 4+ years of experience using Linux (RHEL) Operating systems.
- 4+ years of experience in doing the End-to-end (E2E) validation that verifies an application's workflow from start to finish
- Self-driven understanding of Oracle Data Model against application functionality and performing validations
- Proven excellence in solving complex problems related to software testing.
This is a six-month contract role with intention to convert to perm. The role is MOSTLY remote but does require some onsite meetings so you must reside in the metro-Atlanta area.
