Senior Software Engineer/E-Commerce Platform/Java/ Big Data

An industry giant in the retail/E-commerce space is looking to add a Sr. Java Engineer to their team. The team is responsible for building out a recommendation application which makes suggestions to consumers based on their previous purchase history. 

They are looking for a Sr. Java Engineer to join their team- you will be working on building new features for this specific application. There are a variety of different opportunities to incorporate big data work/tooling on as well within this specific team. Ideal candidates have strong Java/Springboot fundamentals, as well as experience with cloud deployments and big data tooling (Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra). 

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with Java, Springboot, GCP
• Experience with big data tooling (Hadoop, Cassandra, Spark)
• Experience with SQL
• Strong ability to communicate cross-functionally
• Prior experience in the retail/e-commerce space
