Currently, we are seeking a highly skilled Principal Mobile Engineer to lead our mobile development efforts. This role offers the opportunity to report onsite twice a week in College Park, GA, and oversee multiple teams across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities: As a Principal Mobile Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing mobile development teams across the SDLC. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing multiple mobile development teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Architecting scalable and efficient solutions for mobile applications, incorporating best practices and emerging technologies.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Stepping in to code whenever necessary, conducting code reviews, and ensuring code quality and adherence to standards.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize initiatives, and communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Driving innovation and continuous improvement within the mobile engineering department.
- Staying updated on industry trends and best practices, and recommending strategic technology initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mobile Engineer with expertise in mobile development across multiple platforms (iOS, Android).
- Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role overseeing mobile development teams.
- Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Proficiency in mobile development languages and frameworks (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, React Native).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in the retail industry or consumer-facing mobile applications.
- Knowledge of mobile security best practices and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud-based mobile development platforms and services.
