Location: Onsite in the Atlanta area, GA (3 days/week)

Responsibilities: As a Principal Mobile Engineer, you will play a crucial role in architecting and leading the development of mobile solutions for the retail industry. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing multiple mobile projects from conception to delivery, ensuring adherence to project timelines and requirements.
• Architecting mobile solutions using React Native and cross-platform development tools to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Leading a team of mobile engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Collaborating with business departments to understand and prioritize engineering needs, and communicating technical concepts effectively.
• Conducting code reviews, providing feedback, and implementing best practices to maintain high-quality code standards.
• Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to mobile development, and recommending innovative solutions to enhance our mobile offerings.

Requirements:

• Expert knowledge of mobile development, with extensive experience in both Android and iOS platforms.
• Proficiency in React Native and cross-platform development tools (e.g., Expo, Xamarin, Flutter).
• Proven experience architecting and leading the development of mobile solutions for consumer-facing applications.
• Strong understanding of mobile app design principles, user interface guidelines, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the retail industry or consumer-facing mobile applications.
• Familiarity with backend technologies and APIs.
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices and performance optimization techniques.
