Senior Cloud Architect / Azure / AWS / Hands On

Job Description

A company in the public transportation space is looking for a Senior Cloud Architect to help migrate their infrastructure and enterprise applications to AWS and Azure. You'll provide architectural designs for a hybrid cloud and on-prem environment, while also staying hands on and helping with implementation. Ideal candidates have architecture and implementation experience, as well as experience working with IoT/ITS technologies with AWS and on-prem systems. You'll also draft security requirements and ensure adherence to cloud governance and security policies. 

This role is remote hybrid, 1 day a week on-site by Boston Common. 

Required Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture
  • Extensive experience working with AWS and Azure environments
  • Experience integrating IoT/ITS technologies
  • Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, disaster recovery, and data management in hybrid cloud/on-prem environments
  • Experience migrating enterprise applications to AWS or Azure
  • Ability to create and maintain SOX documentation
  • Experience tracking, reporting, reviewing controls testing and remediation progress
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA is plus
