We’re looking for a talented Android Developer to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering transformative experiences to our users.

What You’ll Do:
As an Android Developer, you will design and implement robust, scalable, and intuitive Android applications that seamlessly integrate with our wearable devices. You will work at the intersection of software engineering and neuroscience, turning complex data into actionable insights for users.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers, neuroscientists, and product teams to integrate wearable device data into the app.
  • Implement and optimize Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication between the app and wearable devices.
  • Develop data visualization components for real-time feedback and analytics.
  • Ensure the application meets performance, scalability, and reliability standards.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to best practices.
  • Monitor and improve app performance, resolving bugs and ensuring compatibility across Android devices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Android development and wearable technology.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in Android development with strong proficiency in Kotlin.
  • In-depth understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, and modern app architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.).
  • Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols and integrating hardware devices.
  • Familiarity with data visualization libraries and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of integrating machine learning models into Android applications is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of app performance optimization, memory management, and multithreading.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a cross-disciplinary environment.
  • A passion for wearable technology and neuroscience is a huge plus.
