Required Skills & Experience
- Contribute new features to a codebase consisting primarily of C++ and C# but also including some front end javascript code.
- Participate in technical and strategic decisions on a SCRUM team.
- Work across teams on department and R&D acceleration goals.
- Identify and implement new tools and technologies
Desired Skills & Experience
- Design, write, and modify software in a large codebase.
- Understand modern software development principles
- Understand Windows and/or Linux development processes
- Troubleshooting skills. Able to analyze complex systems incorporating application software, 3rd party libraries, operating systems, and networks, and determining root cause.
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field.
- 2+ years’ experience in professional software development.
- Experience with at least one or more strongly-typed object-oriented languages, C++/C# preferred
- Experience with Front-end JavaScript frameworks (such as React or Angular).
- Experience with CSS for manipulating Web UI layouts
