Their cutting-edge blood testing devices are designed to improve patient outcomes and enhance the diagnostic process. They are looking for an Embedded Software Manager to lead our talented team in developing reliable, high-quality software solutions for our next generation of products.

Position Overview:
As the Embedded Software Manager, you will oversee the design, development, and integration of embedded software systems for our medical devices. You will lead a team of engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the embedded software development process, from requirements gathering to design, implementation, testing, and validation.
  • Manage a team of embedded software engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support for professional development.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware, firmware, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and performance of software systems.
  • Define and enforce software development methodologies and best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant medical device regulations (e.g., ISO 62304, FDA guidelines).
  • Oversee software testing and validation processes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability in our products.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in our software solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in embedded software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in developing software for medical devices and familiarity with relevant regulatory standards.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and team building.
