Position Overview:

We are looking for a versatile and driven Founding Engineer with strong experience in full-stack development, particularly with React, Node.js, and Python. As an early member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and scaling our core product. Your contributions will directly influence our technology and impact the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and Build: Design and implement scalable, high-performance full-stack solutions, utilizing React for front-end development, Node.js, and Python for back-end development.
• Collaborate: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define product requirements and deliver features that meet user needs and business goals.
• Innovate: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our technology stack and development processes, incorporating best practices and innovative approaches.
• Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to high standards of quality and performance.
• Scale: Develop and optimize systems for scalability and performance, ensuring they can handle growth and increasing user demands.
• Troubleshoot: Identify, debug, and resolve issues across the full stack, including front-end bugs, back-end performance issues, and integration challenges.
• Mentor: Provide guidance and support to other team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of full-stack development experience with a strong focus on React, Node.js, and Python. Experience in early-stage startups or founding teams is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS for front-end development with React. Strong back-end development skills in Node.js and Python. Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and database technologies.
• AI/ML Knowledge: Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, especially in the context of educational technology, is highly desirable.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to solve complex technical problems and devise creative solutions.
• Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a track record of working effectively in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
