Frontend Software Engineer

Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Frontend Software Engineer with a strong focus on React to join our growing engineering team in Boston. You will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining the user-facing components of our web applications. • Develop and maintain scalable, reusable, and responsive web components using React and modern JavaScript.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional, high-quality user interfaces.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring excellent performance across various devices and browsers.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices, including testing and version control.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with state management tools like Redux, Context API, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
• Exposure to design systems and tools like Storybook or Figma.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.
